My name is Angela Shallcross. I am delighted to be one of the Foundation Governors at St. Anne’s Catholic Primary school, a position I’ve held since October 2018.
I have lived in the local area all my life and I have two daughters, one of whom currently attends St. Anne’s. My eldest daughter has now completed her journey through St. Anne’s. Having seen how well she has transitioned to high school, I now want to see our other pupils do the same.
I am committed to supporting and helping to develop Catholic Education, which I believe gives our children the best opportunity to flourish in an environment centered around Christ and his teachings. I attend mass at St. Agnes and strongly believe that the Catholic faith is an excellent foundation on which to build the citizens of tomorrow.
I have a particular interest in the overall health and wellbeing of the all the pupils, staff and governors at St. Anne’s.
I am a Chartered Valuation Surveyor and have twenty years of experience working in the Property sector, undertaking a variety of difference roles. I am currently working for a FTSE 100 telecoms company.
