Dragonflies had a wonderful visit this morning. We learnt how hard the fire service work and they have inspired us today. This is really important for us this week as we know that the fire service will be extremely busy this weekend for bonfire night. This has helped us with our new history topic too.
Children from UKS2 have been reflecting upon the life of Queen Elizabeth II and creating these amazing pieces depicting her life and reign.
LKS2 enjoyed celebrating their topic on Victorian Huyton by dressing up and immersing themselves in activities, including a walk around the ‘promenade’.
Local History Study
As part of our History topic, we explored our local area looking for evidence of The Victorians. We were amazed at how many Victorian buildings there were and we were very good at spotting key features of Victorian architecture.
