The children in KS1 were amazed to see three of the ‘Beatles’ this morning. As part of our Local History Catch up topic, the children made their own ticket to travel on George and Robert Stevenson’s famous locomotive ‘The Rocket’ to the hall. In the hall, we explored the significant buildings in Liverpool and had to spot the buildings using a checklist. The children then enjoyed learning one of the famous Beatles songs to appreciate the impact they have had on our Local History and worldwide. We understand the importance of our own Local History.
