It is the policy of St Anne’s Catholic Primary School to ensure that no pupil with special educational needs is the subject of discrimination. All pupils, including those with SEN, follow the same Admission Arrangements (see Admission Policy). The Governors consider that our admission criteria should not discriminate against pupils with SEN and should recognise the spirit of the SEN Code of Practice. Please find our Admissions Policies below.
You can make an objection to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator (OSA) if you think that the admission arrangements of a maintained school or academy do not comply with the ‘School Admissions Code’ or other legislation relating to school admissions. Details of how to object are available on https://www.gov.uk/schools-adjudicator-make-an-objection-appeal-or-referral .
ADMISSIONS TO THE SCHOOL will be determined by the Governing Body. Parents must complete a Local Authority Preference Form or apply online via the website www.knowsley.gov.uk/schooladmissions.
