Extra-curricular activities will change throughout the year so that different year groups have an opportunity to attend.
KS1 and KS2 children will have their attendance at extra curricular clubs recorded for their Children’s University Passport, to keep track of their progress towards the completion of each module. The children will be awarded Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards at the end of the year, depending upon the number of hours they have committed to extra-curricular activities. Hours accumulated from the last academic year will be carried over to this year.
The Passport can be purchased from school at a cost of £2.00. Please send the money in an envelope marked with your child’s name and ‘Children’s University Passport’ for the attention of Miss Fraser.
If children are participating in any physical activities such as football, netball, cross country or dance, then they should have a second PE kit so that their school kit does not get taken home. They also need to bring a bottle of water – please do not forget that the children work hard and need to be able to drink water throughout the session.
