My name is Graham Golding and I am a Foundation Governor at St Anne’s Catholic Primary School. I have been a Governor since May 2018. As part of my role I have been appointed Nursery Link Governor, for which I will have close ties with the children and staff within the setting, to monitor the development and to help to maintain the very best standards that we can achieve together.
As a Foundation Governor I have strong ties with the local churches of St Agnes and St Aidan. I am involved each year with the First Holy Communion preparation courses for the year 4 children of all three schools within the parish.
I am the father of one child who is currently a pupil at St Anne’s.
I work as a Quantity Surveyor for a large national construction company, and my duties involve financial and contractual control of large construction projects, dealing with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and individuals as well as our own in-house colleagues. This work involves team work, strategies and plans to produce successful delivery of these projects. In recent years I have been involved in building several schools and office buildings, and I am currently working on a large multi storey car park.
In my spare time I enjoy most sports, particularly football and swimming, and like to keep up to date with current affairs.
