My name is Kim Murphy and I have been a foundation Governor at St. Anne’s Catholic Primary School for almost 5 years. I am also a parent of two children currently attending St. Anne’s. I am honoured and delighted to have the pleasure of fulfilling the role of Link Governor for Year 6.
I live in the local area and I attend St. Agnes Parish Church regularly. I also help with the Children’s Liturgy sessions. I believe that our school has its foundations firmly rooted at the centre of our community and parish community. I am committed to the Catholic life of the school and believe that all our children deserve the opportunity to become part of and feel that they belong to a school that is committed to the highest possible standards of a holistic education.
I believe that each child should have the opportunity to grow and develop their own potential during their school journey. I am happy that I have the chance to be involved in developing and encouraging those opportunities.
I currently work in education as a Primary School Teacher and pride myself on having the highest possible standards and expectations for children. Therefore, as a Foundation Governor, my goal is to contribute to the development of the school and ensure that our children receive the very best our education system has to offer.
