When the role for a new parent governor was advertised, I decided to apply as I would like to support the school in whatever way I can. My wife and I live locally and have three children, two are at St Annes as of September 23, along with one more to hopefully start in the next few years. I am a qualified electrician and an electrical assessor for a technical college and hopefully I can bring some of these skills to the table to help the school to keep improving. I have already attended two meetings in the summer term which has given me an insight into the role of a governor, and I look forward to playing my part in the future success of our school.
