At St Anne’s Catholic Primary School the intent of our Music curriculum is to INSPIRE our pupils to develop a love of music. We want to NURTURE their creativity and develop their SKILLS and talents as musicians.
The music curriculum is implemented primarily via the ‘Charanga’ scheme of work. Children listen and appraise a range of music, developing an understanding of the inter-related dimensions of music. They learn to sing and play musical instruments as well as compose their own music.
The Music lead is Miss Frodsham.
